News Flash from Home of the Open Heart !
Our wonderful calendars are ready - and they look great! Many of you have received calendars in previous years and again this year we will be sending out calendars to all our wonderful financial supporters for free! But don’t despair – if you would like to order an extra calendar or even better order in bulk and sell the calendars to those in your church and home group on our behalf – then please send us an email and we will send them
on to you pronto!
All payments for the calendars need to be made through ARMS with an attached note specifying that the payment is for a calendar. Please do not forget to attach the note so that we can distinguish calendar payments from other support that we receive. Prices for the calendars are $10 each plus $3 postage.
News from Penny is that she remains in Australia and continues the chemotherapy treatment recommended by the oncologist in Adelaide. The first treatment has been completed and was pretty rough initially. As she improves she continues to encourage us from afar and has asked that you continue to pray for her. We have seen how God has continually sustained Penny throughout these last three years and we continue to believe for His miracle of healing – through all our prayers. Thank you for joining with us in lifting Penny up in prayer on a daily basis.
Finally, our Hospice facility continues to move ahead and each day we can see changes to the building both inside and out. We are looking forward to the time that we will welcome our first ‘guest’ into our care and we are praying that the last of our funds come in soon so that we can bring the building to completion.
